Well, it has been quite for some time I have been contemplating to start writing in a blog. Either to express my view on certain issue or as a recreational tool to polish my writing and language skills. Procrastination was a major problem for the delay. Probably blogging will destroy this hurdle for me to become a much more successful person. And time and situation has been the deciding factor.
15 or 20 years back, I really love to write. My late father has been an inspiration and keep pushing my brother and me to write short essay and sending it to certain student magazine. And it's been worthwhile, when seeing my own writing published and read by fellow readers. Those essays had really help me bringing my imagination into writing.
And how the world has evolve a lot. Those days, pen and paper were my best friend. Now it's been replaced by keyboard and a screen, either during work or normal day to day . My fingers now get tired easily when ask to write using a pen - answering exam was tough - and the numbness felt afterwards. Maybe an indirect effect of too much 'sms'ing.
However, with HIS blessing, finally today, Friday, 18th November 2011, I chose to start my own cyber-journey/cyber-journalism and join fellow bloggers. Hopefully my blog won't be a dormant blog like so many others. Choosing 'Skrol Saya' as my blog name really indicates what I want this blog to portray. It'll be like sharing stories, experiences, emotions, that has gone thru my life and jotted down in my life scroll. What I do have in my mind now, is writing about life, current issues, gold, and international relations.
Be it an inspiring entry or down right stupid, I just hope blogging will be worthwhile. Happy reading!
